Scope
This policy covers the Chrome extension Cuadranta - Exportador de pólizas a Excel (“Cuadranta policy Excel exporter”), published by StreamSolve Automation LLC. It does not cover any other StreamSolve product; those are described in our general privacy policy.
Summary
The extension sends two things to StreamSolve's own server: the email address you enter to unlock it, and the contents of the policy sections you are exporting. The server checks that your account is active, builds the Excel file, and sends it back for your browser to download. Nothing is sent anywhere else. The policy contents are never kept; the server keeps only a short technical record of each export (see Request log).
What it accesses
When you click the extension's toolbar button on a policy benefit page at
ita.secureaccountaccess.com, it collects sections already
displayed to you — the account summary, the value history chart, the Fund
Distribution and Fund Allocations tables — and sends them to our server,
which returns an Excel (.xlsx) file that your browser downloads to your own
device.
To do this it may open the page's own tabs (Portfolio, Allocations) so their contents load, then return you to the tab you were on. It also opens the portal's Fund Activity page in a background tab, runs the search for your policy's effective date, reads the resulting table, and closes that tab again.
Building the file
The workbook is built on our server at
https://ext.cuadranta.com, not in your browser.
To do that, the extension sends it:
- your email address, so the server can confirm the account is active before it does anything else;
- the contents of the policy sections listed above, exactly as your browser had already rendered them for you — the account summary, the chart's values, and the fund and activity tables.
The server reads that, builds the file and returns it in the same request. The policy contents are not stored: they are never written to disk or to a database, and they are gone when the request ends. It is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for analytics, advertising, profiling or tracking.
The access check
The exporter is limited to accounts we have registered. To enforce that, the extension asks you once for your email address and then:
- stores that address on your own device, using the browser's extension storage, so you do not have to retype it;
-
sends it to
https://ext.cuadranta.comto ask a single question — whether that address belongs to an active account. The server answers only yes or no; - remembers the answer for 30 minutes before asking again.
You can remove the stored address at any time with Usar otro correo in the extension's popup, or by removing the extension. The address is used for no other purpose than this check and the request log below.
Request log
For each export the server writes one technical record, in its database and in its service logs:
- the email address sent with the request;
- the date and time, and the result (exported, or the reason it was refused);
- the extension's identifier (the request origin) and the IP address the request came from;
- sizes and timings: bytes of markup received, number of activity pages and sheets, bytes of the file returned, and processing time.
The record never contains the policy contents. It is used only for security (spotting misuse of the service) and support (finding out why an export failed). It is kept while the service operates and deleted when the service is retired. You can ask for the records with your address to be deleted at any time by writing to the contact address below.
What it does not do
- Your policy contents are not stored on the server. They exist there only for the length of the request that builds your file; only the request log above is kept.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or fingerprinting.
-
It reads pages on
ita.secureaccountaccess.comonly, and nothing on any other website. -
It contacts one server only,
ext.cuadranta.com, and only for the two requests described above.
The downloaded file
The workbook is written to your normal downloads folder and is yours alone. The extension has no access to it after the download completes.
Permissions
- downloads — to save the Excel file.
- activeTab and scripting — to read the sections on the page you are viewing when you click the button, and the linked fund activity page.
- storage — to remember your email address on your own device.
-
Access to
ita.secureaccountaccess.com— the portal the extension operates on. -
Access to
ext.cuadranta.com: the account check and building the file. This one is optional and is requested the first time you enter your address; the extension cannot contact that server until you grant it, and without it the exporter does not work.
Limited use
Our use of information received from the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the export the user asked for, is never transferred except as required to provide that feature, and is never used for advertising. The policy contents are not read by humans; the request log is read only for security or to help a user who reports a problem with an export.
Changes
Earlier versions of the extension, up to 1.12.0, built the file inside the browser and sent nothing anywhere. Version 1.13.0 onwards does not. This page describes 1.13.0 and later.
